oh, for me?

well, it's that time of the year again. my mom is already asking me what i want for my birthday and my birthday isn't even until the twenty-second of december. as she asked, i've been looking for stuff that she could possibly get me for my birthday. i've come up with a few things, but not very much. i'm probably just going to ask for some money in the end so that i can go buy what i want without having to worry about putting the burden on my mom of finding something cute for me.

the first thing that i really wanted were some of those trendy, adorable work boots that everyone seems to have, but me. you can pair them with so many different things and i absolutely need a pair. the second thing that i absolutely have to have is a blazer, because i don't have one of those either. shocker! i think they're absolutely adorable. the rest of it is basically just essentials. a few more tees of different styles and maybe a tote. the final thing that i absolutely have to have is "the teen vogue handbook: an insider's uide to careers in fashion." want it!

welcome to my new blog, i suppose. fashion is a growing interest of mine. i've always loved it, but as of lately i've been in love with it, for lack of a better choice of words. even when i'm not exactly dressed the best (which i'm definitely not the best dressed at all points).

where i live in alabama, there's not that many people who are as interested in fashion as i am, just a few of my friends and a couple of other people. practically everyone here wears whatever and just doesn't care, which makes it nearly embarrassing to wear something bold in public. when i wore a pair of colorful skinny jeans to school one day, a lot of people went nuts over them.

i guess what i'm trying to get out is that i love fashion and this blog is going to be all about my personal style, what i like, my inspirations, things that i want to buy, things that i have bought, and so on. come back soon, there will be more up, i assure you.
